I own a 1994 Dodge Shadow, 4 door hatchback and am due for an oil change. How much oil should I use?

There are are about 174,000 miles on this vehicle. My mechanic recommends a 20/50 oil, as it is superior to a 10 w 40 oil.I own a 1994 Dodge Shadow, 4 door hatchback and am due for an oil change. How much oil should I use?Girl take that car to a proffessional right now, and stop asking questions online... your wasting valuable time.I own a 1994 Dodge Shadow, 4 door hatchback and am due for an oil change. How much oil should I use?no dont use 20 50 because that oil is thicker and is set up for high temps such as an air cooled motor which your car is not. use a thinner oil such as 5w-30 or 10w-40

for the small high revving motor like yours is and as many miles as it has, also look for a full synthetic like castrol syntec

as for how much oil look in your owners manual, and always change the oil filter with your oil changeI own a 1994 Dodge Shadow, 4 door hatchback and am due for an oil change. How much oil should I use?40 or 50 is both ok ....the amount start with three or four qts and check it add more til its full.... you go and it done is easier and the cost is about the same and you get it done right plus most places also check out for other possiblie fixes that you might not be aware of take it some where is the best way to get it done. if you really want to do it your self get someone who has done it be for to help you dont forget you have a filter also that need to be replace do you have the tools it takes
